Episode 88 - Final Words From A Father

In this episode, the crew explores the impact of a fathers final words of instruction to a son.  We look at the driving power of these words and how they have the ability to shape and change the direction of the son.  We also explore what happens if their is no father or the words were destructive.  Using the example of Paul and Timothy, which Paul was a surrogate father to Timothy.  We can see from this powerful interaction in II Timothy 2, how even a surrogate father who speaks to who you really are, can positively impact your future with words.

Episode 87 - Lessons from a first marathon

Episode 85 - Letting your identity outgrow life’s prisons

In this episode, the whole crew is together to discuss what should our response be to life's situations that want to imprison us.  We take a new exploration of the story of Paul and Silas in prison that is found in Acts 17.  There response to this was quite different than one would expect.  Even though they were whipped and put in the darkest cell, they remained in charge of the situation.  There focus was not to get out, rather they had a much larger vision.  There actions so changed the situation that history was altered by their choice.  We deep dive into this topic and reveal tools for all of us to remain solid and victorious in any situation.

Episode 83 - Living under water - understanding a new kingdom

In this episode, the crew discusses what it is like to live in a new kingdom, who you are in it and the rules required to bring out the best of that kingdom.  We compare a recent dive trip to what it is like to be in the Kingdom of God and the roles of those guiding you into the best experience.  In a new kingdom one can operate in the manner they once did, but it will not produce the results and will probably put you at risk of harm.  We also look at church leadership from the perspective of guiding you into the Kingdom to have the maximum experience, rather than bringing you into what they want for you. Episode 82 - The importance of ideas

In this episode, the crew discuss the importance of ideas and how they move us forward.  We look at the mindsets that shape ideas, some good and bad.  Ideas from the right source are ground breaking and it affects those around you.  If there is a struggle with ideas our current view of the world around us is holding it back, thus the need for an idea.   Ideas alone are not powerful until action is given to them.  Discover ways in which ideas shape our world and how it a critical truth that emerges from God.
